This no-cost webinar will provide a citizen's toolkit for staying politically active while overseas.

Are you a UMGC student overseas who wants to remain politically active, but you currently live outside of America? Or simply an American that is curious if they can stay involved in voting, politics, or civic engagement back home? UMGC can help! There are plenty of ways for you to stay involved in politics, movements, voting, and civic participation while spending time overseas.

On 1 July, Professor Tim Schaitberger, who teaches government and business at UMGC, will be going over 4 key ways Americans can stay involved during their time away from the U.S. He'll discuss voting from abroad, political parties for those overseas, staying involved in local U.S. politics, and finally how to maintain civic engagement with your elected officials. This will be a citizen's toolkit for staying politically active while overseas.

Feel free to bring your questions and concerns on 1 July. Join via Zoom at https://umuc.zoom.us/j/94538518668.
