Find Your 4-Week Holiday Course

What are remote on-site courses?
With remote courses, you will meet directly with your professor and fellow classmates from the comfort of your home, room, or wherever you may be located via Zoom on specific days and times. Since courses are also hybrid, part of your class will be learning online at times convenient to you.

What are the advantages of the remote format?
With the remote format, you can take classes that fit your needs and are offered for Europe locations if you are located in EUCOM. For those in CENTCOM or AFRICOM, you can take courses at any Downrange location.
If you are using veterans benefits, remote courses are in the same category as on-site courses, so you may be eligible for BAH (basic housing allowance).

Are courses offered in January?
The UMGC Europe spring schedule will offer hundreds of remote on-site or online courses. Basically, you can start classes about every two weeks.

What are the deadlines for using TA or CA?
Registration deadlines are prior to the class start dates. If you use military tuition assistance (TA), ensure you have your TA approved on time in accordance with the TA deadlines. If you are an Army student and eligible for the Army’s new Credentialing Assistance (CA) Program, there are approved course options for you as well. We recommend you start the TA or CA approval process early.

For questions, please contact the program coordinator or advisor at your site by making an appointment or by dialing into the virtual office for a personal video chat.

Enjoy the holidays with a UMGC course this December!
